Took them my truck with a pretty good idea of what was wrong. They diagnosed the problem quickly and honestly. They installed and programmed a new computer with a 36,000 mile warranty. It wasn't the least expensive quote I got but the premium service and professionalism was well worth the difference in cost. Outstanding service! The folks at Auto Excel are knowledgeable, thorough, respectful, and honest. I highly recommend them to everyone in the Central Kentucky area! The customer service they provide is second to none!!! These guys are so great! I took my Jeep in for routine servicing and during the inspection they discovered a few issues that needed to be addressed and repaired. Since my Jeep was still under factory warranty they recommended I get these repairs done at the dealership. There aren't many repair/service shops out there that would have told you that...most likely they would have just said, :hey you need to get this fixed and here's how much it costs." Can't say enough nice things about Mike and his great team. A+++

I can't say enough about these guys. A big thanks to "Dallas" willing to go the extra steps to make sure my experience was awesome. I wish I could sit with every potential customer and tell them what a great experience I had. The place is amazing and the team of guys are great. I have a 2011 mini cooper S that no one else even had a clue about fixing. I had it to 3 other shops. These guys went the extra mile and with some diagnosing, fixed it. I'm so excited that I can acutely enjoy my driving experience without a service light on. They are very reasonable priced. They smash the dealerships or any other so called auto shop that specialize on brands. If your looking for honesty and great character give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Went in for a pre-purchase inspection this morning. It was a fantastic experience! The whole process was very simple and straight forward. Made the appointment over the phone and both Mike and Dallas were very accommodating to fit the appointment around my schedule. The shop itself is really nice! Completely unexpected from a 'car repair' place. Dallas was extremely professional and helpful. The inspection process went well. I got an email link to the inspection report right away. Dallas sat and went over the report with me and also answered a few questions/concerns that I had. Also provided an objective opinion about some thing in the car which may need to be replaced. Did not push to get it done and told me that it was something that may not need to be fixed at all. All in all, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back to this place if I ever needed car work done! Would highly recommend this place to anyone without any reservations.

Great service and experience! Mike and Eric take care of you and make sure the job is done right without overcharging! Only car shop that provides a shuttle service which is super convenient. They put a lift on my Jeep a year ago and did a great job. One year later I had trouble with the lift and they made all the adjustments free of charge. Great guys!!!!

Brought my 2005 Volkswagen Jetta in for a camshaft sensor replacement. They gave me a reasonable quote and had no qualms with me having already started work on the car and providing the part myself. I had to bring it in, because the sensor is located behind the timing belt and I'm not comfortable with making sure the engine timing is correct and had decided to just let them replace the part as well while they were making sure the timing is correct. The associate then told me that he would call later that day just to update me on the situation with the car before they start on it and give me an exact time of completion. I did not receive a call until the next day which the associate whom I spoke with had a terribly pretentious attitude the whole time during the call. He proceeded to tell me that, because I had already started work on the car they couldn't do their inspection, (they charge $110 for it, which is why I had it done elsewhere), they wanted to do a full timing belt replacement kit and change my cranshaft position sensor. I reminded him that I had already had it inspected and there had been no problems with those parts upon which the associate informed me that they would not work on the car and I should take it elsewhere. UPDATE Shortly after leaving this review I received a call from the same associate harrassing me about the review. The first thing they asked was, "Why are you bashing us on google?!", after which they proceeded to drill me on my review.
