The issue was fixed. But the whole process was kind of shady. PROS: -friendly -easy to reach my service advisor -quotes available upon request -coupons available CONS: -extra charges/ work done without prior consent -took a few days to get the car checked out (in all fairness, the service advisor was very clear that this would be the case before I brought the car in) -recieved my car back with a screw in the tire -__- -use of coupon is subject to service advisor's approval.

I have been taking my vehicles to Auto Excel for over a year. Great customer service, they strive to make sure you are happy with their work. It's nice to have a shop you can trust to stand behind their work. Mike, Dallas, Phillp and their team of mechanics are all very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I personally don't let anyone else work on my vehicles.

Phillip at Auto Excel went above and beyond to help us when our car got stuck at the Red River Gorge (an hour away in the middle of nowhere). Before he knew he had our business he spent hours (literally) talking with us about the car and the potential options we had. I don't know what we would of done without him. Once we decided to go with Auto Excel, we were extremely impressed with the entire process. They not only gave me a detailed report (with photos) of what was wrong with my car but they walked me through the entire list (which was long) and made sure I understood every aspect. They worked with me to get the best price and did excellent work. Auto Excel has a knowledgable and dedicated team and they are by FAR the best mechanics/staff I have ever encountered. I honestly couldn't say enough good things about Phillip and Auto Excel. This experience restored my faith in people who genuinely care about you as a person and want the best for you (not just your money.) I live 5 hours away from Lexington but if I didn't I would give Auto Excel 100% of my business. I've thought about driving my car back, just because they are so awesome. Thanks for saving us Phillip. You are truly one-of-a-kind.

These guys are fantastic. I took my jeep to other mechanics in town for a grinding noise but they never fix the problem. The other guys often came back with some minor quick fixes but still the grinding came back. Auto excel found the problem and fixed it. Auto excel also sent me a detailed email with everything they could find that needed service. This includes problems the other guys either missed or didn't tell me about. I will be using Auto Excel for now on and encouraging my freinds and family to as well.
